Let us introduce you to some of our friends around the region who are often a popular stop on many of our tours.
We also have a number of accommodation partners who’d be happy to provide you with the ideal place to wind down after a long day of tasting and touring.
Experience Extraordinary : great info to be found at this website about all things to do in Western Australia … besides going on tour with us !!
And while lots of our photos are from you : our guests, or our partners below – many are also courtesy from the image gallery of Tourism Western Australia. Thanks.
From Wool to Wine ! In 1996 the first vines were planted for wine production after farming the property primarily for fine wool. Some lucky sheep may graze in the vineyard in autumn, but you better go into the tasting room and try some of their wonderful wines.
Evolved from a few bottles of wine amongst friends and a card game. The links between viticulture and cards became apparent… In viticulture as with cards – you have to play the hand that you are dealt. So come and taste what Travis and Elizabeth did with their “cards”.
A small, family owned winery with a unique cellar door in a tranquil atmosphere – sit among the vines sipping some wine, enjoying a leisurely afternoon in most pleasant surroundings.
Fresh sea breezes from the Indian Ocean along with well drained gravel loams give the wines their unique flavours. Have a seat under the Peppy tree and taste some great drops – all wines from this family owned vineyard are produced exclusively from established vines on the estate.
Food and Art:
Where great Food and Art come together. The Studio is set in stunning gardens in Yallingup with a gallery presenting leading Australian artists and a stylish restaurant offering continental cuisine in an innovative and refreshing style.
Locavore share plates and wood-fired pizza, plus choice wine on tap, in a stylish, airy dining hall. Relax outside under our cascading grapevines, or cosy by the fire in winter.
Pasta and shared platters – restaurant and cellar door next to the vineyard. Indulge in the fresh flavours of local farmers and food artisans in a relaxed atmosphere. Open for yummy brekkies and delicious lunches.
“Three is a Charm” at Bettenay’s
In 1989 the Bettenay family searched the Margaret River area for an ideal property on which to grow grapes and ended up with one of the best vineyard sites in the region. The property now boasts 25 acres under vine and the awards & accolades for their Wine have been mounting up !
But it is not just superb wine you find here … indulge in Nougat as well. The French inspired secret recipe is closely guarded among family members and hand made in small batches.
And they also offer Accommodation : a Two and a Three Bedroom Villa plus a most romantic Spa Apartment above the Cellar Door – when they close the doors down stairs; you can sit on the balcony; zip some wine, savour some cheeses and round it up with a bit of nougat. Sigh, how good is that.
Oh, I forgot : the view from above over the little lake. Imagine that on a full moon night !
Get in touch with them for your visit down south in the Margaret River region – spoil yourself with wine; sweets and sweet dreams in a comfy accommodation.
(And yes : we pick up for our tours at Bettenay’s as well !!)
