If you are not already familiar with us, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our owner operated tour business in the beautiful and famous Margaret River Wine Region in the south west corner of Western Australia.

Established in 1999, Taste the South was first envisaged by Mel whilst soaking in a bush bath under the stars, wine in hand, at her home in Yallingup. The dream that turned into a reality has enabled us to provide a friendly, informative and personalised tour business.

5 years on, Nat has joined the business as a head tour specialist and compliments the friendly relaxed style of tour that we are renowned for. Nat brings with her a wealth of ultra friendly knowledge, having being born and raised in Busselton as well as being employed at Vasse Felix for a considerable amount of time. Nat started at Taste the South after a year off traveling the world all over.

We provide a specialised service that allows visitors to handpick their own itinerary, be it to a winery, brewery, gallery, cave or any other tour attraction in the cape region. We cater for every palate; from the discerning wine lover, who would love a barrel tasting, to the wine tasting apprentice still in training who requests a wine tasting lesson, to a group of friends sharing a great day out. Our tours are informative, yet informal and operate daily. Due to the fact that no tour is ever the same, we are forever welcoming back the many happy faces who return for further tours exploring the wonders of Margaret River.

We are also available for transfers to small weddings, corporate groups, nights and days out plus regional events such as the Leeuwin Estate Concert, Amberley Seafood Semillon, Margaret River Food and Wine Festival.

For those not wanting to share the day with others, an Exclusive Private Charter will have you enjoying a personalised, custom designed day out with just you and your friends, visiting where ever you like.
